Why do we hate the rich?

Why do we hate the rich? There is no reason too, also (directed towards Americans) did you know George Washington was very wealthy? I believe (after inflation is accounted for) he was worth something like 50 or more million dollars? So, the question I ask: why do we hate the rich? Whats the point?

Now, the funny thing is some rich people are adored. Obama, worth I think 5 million dollars. Liberals, who cry whine and hate the rich support a rich man. Ironic, actually. Now, another person people like is Steve jobs, incredibly wealthy man. Many like him because he "invented apple" and "made the iPhone". But, the thing is they may say they hate rich people, but like steve jobs, something does not add up. So, do you really think you hate rich people? I will make a small list (there are many longer versions) rich people benefit society.

- Create jobs
- With their company and money invest in the economy
- After they make their company they can create jobs
- Invented the iPhone
- Pretty much everything you own, is linked to a wealthy hard working "bureaucrat".

So why dissing Romney? (I now support him, the best man santorum left D: ) If anything, Romneys success created job in his company, bain capital, and his investments stimulated other sectors.
