Drugs, where do they store the confiscated ones?

My next few posts will be about drugs, drug legalization, and other drug war facts.

The DEA has arrested about 700,000 people and have confiscated thousands of kilograms of drugs.
[http://www.justice.gov/dea/statistics.html#seizures] The DEA keeps the confiscated drugs throughout the legal process and investigations for evidence. [http://ohmygov.com/blogs/general_news/archive/2009/02/04/when-drugs-are-seized-where-do-they-go.aspx] Sometimes the border patrol will seize the drugs and keep them. [Ibid] The UN also keeps a lot of the drugs. [Ibid] It is also sometimes burned. [Ibid]
