Why I oppose border fences

I may eventually write a full post on this, but here is something I have already written. The other side conceded.

I argued three things.
(1) Fences harm the environment
(2) Fences cost a lot
(3) Many immigrants do not even cross the border

He argued this:
(1) Fences work
(2) Fences reduce crime
(3) Immigration is bad

I refuted all of his points and my points were not really debunked.
